Even though we are in difficult economic times,  Local 947 has consistently negotiated strong contracts on behalf of employees in all areas of manufacturing.

Local 947 is a Union that takes to heart the wishes and desires of the membership.  We take pride in negotiating  extremely high health and retirement benefit plan packages  and much improved  wages, hours, holidays, sick leave, bereavement leave and other working conditions.
