Union Demonstration

On Thursday April 4, 2013 there was a union demonstration at the union shop at North Country Road, Huntington Station, NY. Local 947 was present with union supporters, their affiliates the IUJAT (International Union of Journeymen Allied Trades) and the press due to employer failure to “collective bargain in good faith”. Employees of the union shop made their voices clear when Local 947 won the union election in December 2012. Local 947 is proud to represent and advocate for their members who are dedicated hard workers who strive to live the American dream with their families. We would like to thank the community of Huntington Station who showed tremendous support through the “HONKING” of their car horns.
