All workers have the right to organize and join a Union, even if they are undocumented!

At Local 947 we comprehend how complex it is to be undocumented or in the process of getting documentation while you are working. Employers often take advantage of you by threatening to deport you, and by paying you less than what the law allows. You do not have to be afraid, speak up, we can help. We, the union, are only concerned about the rights of workers no matter what your legal status is.

Should your employer violate your right to organize a union, Local 947 union representatives will provide representation free of charge (at the NLRB), and will do everything legally possible to protect your rights!

It is against the law for your employer to discriminate against his workers because of their age, race, religion, sex, or union activity. When you have a UNION CONTRACT, Local 947 will MAKE CERTAIN your boss follows those rules and obeys the law!
