Local 947, Boilermakers, represents porters, doormen/concierges, handymen and custodians at some of the major real estate building service companies in the country. For the past 30 years we have negotiated extremely strong contracts and will continue to do so. Local 947 is a Union that takes to heart the wishes and desires of the membership. We take pride in negotiating extremely high health and retirement benefit plan packages and much improved wages, hours, holidays, sick leave, bereavement leave and other working conditions.
