Local 947, Boilermakers, represents employees in all areas in the transportation industry, including truck drivers, bus drivers, and ambulette drivers.

Local 947 is a Union that takes to heart the wishes and desires of the membership. We take pride in negotiating extremely high health and retirement benefit plan packages and much improved wages, hours, holidays, sick leave, bereavement leave and other working conditions.
